Ports & Terminals

Saga’s ocean cruises depart from several UK ports. Depending on your ship and sailing, you may embark at:

  • Portsmouth International Port - the port’s terminal provides level access and dedicated accessible parking.
  • Southampton - Saga uses several terminals here, including Ocean Cruise Terminal (berth 46), City Cruise Terminal (berth 101), Mayflower Cruise Terminal (berth 106) and the QEII Cruise Terminal (berths 38/39).
  • Dover Cruise Terminal - smaller sailings may depart from Dover; facilities include covered walkways and accessible parking.

What ship should you choose?

Saga’s boutique fleet offers comfort and space without the crowds. There are currently two ocean ships:

Spirit of Adventure (launched 2021) - the newest member of the fleet features spacious cabins, a host of specialty restaurants and stylish public areas.

Spirit of Discovery (launched 2019) - sister to Spirit of Adventure, this ship combines classic design with modern comforts and offers a selection of wheelchair accessible cabins.

We also support Saga river ships when schedules and logistics permit — please contact us to discuss availability for sailings on Spirit of the Danube, Spirit of the Rhine or other river vessels.
